Brentwood Tennis Club
Throughout the year, members of Brentwood Tennis Club make full use of the eight all weather artificial grass courts. The easily located club is next to the Brentwood Cricket Club.
Social Play
The club has a strong tradition of social play. This helps to create a wonderful community atmosphere. From March to November organised social play on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. These sessions are open to all senior/student and junior/senior members of the club. Numbers attending are always high and the standard of tennis is excellent with the added bonus of afternoon tea.
Coaching
The club only offers coaching to members. Group coaching is available for mini-tennis, juniors and adults at Brentwood Tennis Club. Individual coaching is also on offer.
Competitive Tennis
A large number of teams compete in the local Brentwood and Essex Leagues. And as a result there are many opportunities for all types of competitive tennis players.
Membership
There is a small joining fee at Brentwood Tennis Club. However, club membership is organized by playing standard and age. For example tennis players of a good standard may become full members. While those who aren’t quite there yet, can join a cheaper class which focuses more around coaching activities. Of course the club aims to develop all players into full members. The club also offers midweek membership and junior membership as well as a number of other options.
Extras
The clubhouse’s bar provides a comfortable environment to relax in after a game! In the summer, the patio area at the back of the club is ideal for summer drinks and BBQs. Finally, the club’s social events are always a lively affair and, of course, guests are welcome!
