Brixworth Tennis Club
Whether just starting to play or you have been hitting since before the Borg McEnroe era, Brixworth Tennis Club caters for you.
Found on the Southern most edge of Brixworth in the heart of rural Northamptonshire, the club has 3 top quality Hard Courts nestled in some truly beautiful surroundings.
Established in 2013 the club has steadily increased in size and is always looking for more players to come and join no matter what their ability.
During the season there are well attended club nights on Fridays where the bar is open and the BBQ is flaming away! Plus, the cricket club have their junior training night on at the same time. This is a great time to visit Brixworth Tennis Club and have a chat with the clubs members before jumping in with both feet!
There is also an ever expanding Social calendar as well as a good Junior and competitive tennis programme.
Social Play
There are weekly club sessions. These turn up and mix in session allow members to play often, improve their game and meet new people. Also, members can book the courts for private use outside of Club times. It’s easy to book a court either online or via the club’s app.
Coaching
Brixworth offers a wide range of coaching. The club uses a number of qualified and LTA registered coaches, which ensure you receive the best tuition.
In addition to individual lessons, there are junior group coaching sessions and holiday camps. There are also ladies coaching morning each week, which are available on a pay as you go or termly basis.
Competitive Tennis
Brixworth is very active in local leagues having teams in Mixed, Ladies and Mens divisions. The first Sunday of each month is our Sunday Super Smash round robin mix in where fun is the name of the game.
A singles club ladder also takes place and there’s also an annual Open Tournament. Therefore if you’re after a wide range of match play, Brixworth Tennis club could be perfect for you.
Membership
The club is open to members of all abilities with low annual subscription fees. Options available include Adult, Junior, and Family.
Extras
Brixworth Tennis Club is affiliated to the LTA. This means members have access to a wide range of benefits including access to Wimbledon tickets. Because of a strong junior section, the members constantly strive to go beyond the LTA 5 Standards for Welfare and Safeguarding.
