Caerphilly Tennis Club
Founded in 1989, Caerphilly Tennis Club is the only club within Caerphilly County Borough. The club offers tennis all year round in our adult and junior sections, day or night.
So, whether you fancy a social hit with some friendly faces, looking to start playing a new sport or aiming to be the next British champion, Caerphilly Tennis Club has something to offer you!
Social Play
As a superb family club, there a number of social tennis sessions each week. From family sessions to those for adults only as well as junior specific ones. This weekly programme enables all regardless of age or standard to play some tennis while working on their game and meeting new people. Plus at some session all equipment is provided!
Coaching
Jon, the club’s fully qualified coach offers a range of group and private lessons. Whether you are looking to get back into playing tennis or need some advice on your match play tactics. There are group sessions each for a range of ages which enable all players to progress. Juniors also benefit from a number of holiday camps throughout the year.
Competitive Tennis
While the club doesn’t compete in local leagues, it does offer various tournaments throughout the year. This enables more competitive tennis players to test their skills in match conditions.
Membership
As the only club in the area, Caerphilly Tennis Club offers a number of memberships including an Family Fun Friday annual pass. Since the club does all it can to keep fees low, all members of the local community can afford to join. Visitors are also welcome for a small fee and equipment can be provided on request.
Extras
Demonstrating their committent to the local community, Caerphilly Tennis Club runs Ystrad Tennis Outreach Programme as well as coaching at local schools and leisure facilities.
