Calne Tennis Club

Formed in 1984, Calne Tennis Club started on two council owned tennis courts in Anchor Road. In 2012 the club applied for funding to build new floodlit courts and as a result of a successful bid, moved to Beversbrook in 2014.

 

The club strives to provide a pleasant, happy and safe environment for all members and visitors. Calne Tennis Club is proud of it’s Clubmark award. This means the club is recognised as being well run with strong leadership.

 

Social Play

As a member, you will join a thriving all year round social tennis programme. So even you don’t have a regular partner, these weekly sessions ensure you’ll play often! There are also regular social tournaments and events.

 

Coaching

The first rate coaching programme will enable all tennis players to grow and develop. So regardless of whether you’re a beginner, lapsed or more experienced, now is the best time to learn and reach your goals.

 

Competitive Tennis

For more competitive tennis, a men’s, ladies and a mixed teams compete in the summer Chippenham and District Tennis league. 2 teams compete in the Winter Chippenham and District Tennis League and the Swindon and District Tennis League.

 

Membership

Whether you’re a tot, an adult, or a family, Calne Tennis Club has a membership option for you. The club also offers off-peak membership which is perfect for a number of tennis players.
