Castle Hedingham Tennis Club
Castle Hedingham Tennis Club was established in 1922 by the Women’s Institute with two grass courts on land belonging to Hedingham Castle. Today the club is a friendly and sociable club where new members are welcome, regardless of their age or ability.
Club night runs every Friday evening throughout the season. Club nights are for Adult members of all abilities and some Junior members by invitation only. Potential adult members are welcome to join in at club session before joining. There is also a dedicated Junior club sessions on Sunday afternoons.
Head Coach Sheetal Pandya, is an experienced LTA Level 3 Coach. Together with his assistant coaches, they provide a comprehensive coaching program throughout the year, catering for all ages and abilities.
Private one-to-one, family and larger sessions are all available at competitive prices. However, you may prefer take part in one of the many group sessions, some of which are free or subsidised for members.
The Club continues to build on its successes in the Halstead and District Tennis League with Mixed, Men’s, and Ladies teams. Also during the season the club holds regular, friendly tournaments.
With a number of membership options, Castle Hedingham Tennis Club is open to all. Adult membership cost under £2 per week. This means all can afford to join and enjoy the club.
