Located in Saffron Walden, Clavering Tennis Club is a friendly tennis club set in a rural environment. The club welcomes players of all ages and standards.
Social Play
Whether you want to book a court for your own use or join in at a club session, Clavering Tennis Club offers both. Plus as members are very friendly, when you join in at social tennis session, you will receive a warm welcome.
Coaching
A number of coaching courses are available throughout the year with sessions available for both adults and juniors. So, if you’re looking to improve your game, there’s a number of opportunities, whatever your age or ability.
Competitive Tennis
For the more competitive, the club has teams in local leagues and aso runs a number of tournaments each year. These include The Hospital Cup Tournament, which helps to raise money for the local hospital. And as a result there’s match play for all standards!
Membership
As a local family club, Clavering Tennis Club welcomes all and therefore has a few membership types. Adult fees costs slightly over £1 per week, which makes joining highly affordable. Guests are welcome and can play up to 3 times per annum without having to become a member.
