Cobham Tennis Club

Cobham Tennis Club is a small community sports club tucked away in the corner of Cobham Rugby Club. With a lively programme of matches, competitions, social tennis and social events, all are welcome at the club.

 

Social Play

There are regular social tennis sessions on Thursday and Sunday morning. All are welcome to attend these friendly session where members turn up and mix in. In addition to playing some superb tennis, these social session enable you to work on your technique and meet new people.

 

Coaching

Individual and group lessons are available for adults and juniors. Adults can also join weekly Cardio Tennis sessions. Juniors benefit from a packed programme which offers term time tennis, Saturday coaching and Holiday Courses. Juniors aged 4 and above can start with LTA mini tennis and develop their skills from there.

 

Competitive Tennis

While some play as a social activity, others are looking for a challenge. Therefore Cobham Tennis Club offers match play in local leagues. Mens, ladies and mixed teams compete in the Dorking and Leatherhead league. The club also competes in the Surrey mid week league with a ladies’ team. As well as a mens team who play in the Surrey weekend league.

 

Membership

While the club does charge a joining fee, membership is affordable. Cobham Tennis Club offers Family, Single and Junior Membership options.

 

Extras

While currently only a three tennis court club, plans are in place to develop a fourth.
