Crewe Congregational Tennis Club

Crewe Congregational Tennis Club is situation near to Ruskin High School in Crewe. It has been there for over 100 years.
 
The club’s rich history dates back to 1922, when four enterprising members of the Congregational Church which stood on Hightown in Crewe, decided to start a tennis club.
 
Today, the club offers members an affordable option for year round tennis with a range of social and competition tennis.

 

Social Play

Club members meet on Thursday mornings all year round for social tennis. In the summer, there also social play sessions on Saturday afternoons and Wednesday evenings. This means you can turn up and play tennis all year round. If you already have a partner, then you can book a court easily.

 

Coaching

Coaching is available at the club throughout the year. Charlie Robinson is the club coach and all enquiries can go direct to him on either email (charliegeorge.robinson@yahoo.co.uk) or phone (07795098923).

 

Coaching is offered to anyone from beginner to advanced. Ladies and gentlemen and mixed groups. The fees of the coaching can be discussed so as to suit needs.

 

Competitive Tennis

Ladies and gentlemen and mixed groups. Junior coaching and Crewe Tour tennis tournaments are also being developed in collaboration with Wistaston Jubilee Tennis Club.

 

 

Membership

New Members welcome. Visitors also can play at the club for a small fee (and up to a maximum of 5 sessions per season). Currently, they are offering a month’s trial for £4. Superb value!
