Deddington Tennis Club

Set in the lovely north Oxfordshire village of Deddington near Banbury, Deddington Tennis Club is a friendly community sports club. Located in the Windmill Centre Sports Complex. The club is open to all, regardless of standard, and therefore is truly a family friendly club.

 

The Club caters for all standards of tennis, whether it is competitive, social or just a way to keep fit. A full programme of activities includes: club nights, tournaments, family sessions, ladies and mixed matches throughout the year. Also, there are regular coaching courses for those of all ages wishing to improve their tennis skills.

 

Social Play

Adult club night is held on Wednesday evenings and runs April to September. Two sessions on a Sundays, throughout the year. Sunday mornings provide club members the chance to play in a relaxed setting. Family tennis takes place on Sunday afternoons.

 

Coaching

The club’s two coaches offer an extensive programme, with group courses run for beginners, intermediates and advanced players. Children benefit from LTA mini-tennis programme with set age and ability groups held. In addition, there’s a number of holiday camps for the juniors.

 

Competitive Tennis

The club offers a range of competitive play. From internal leagues and tournaments to match play in local leagues.

 

Membership

6 levels of membership are available and fees range from £20 up to £150. With such affordable membership fees, Deddington Tennis Club is superb community asset. Visitors are welcome to play for a nominal fee. However, after three visit, they are required to join as a member.

 

Extras

Off court, Deddington Tennis Club holds a number of social events throughout the year.
