Desford Lawn Tennis Club
Formed in 2008, Desford Lawn Tennis Club is part of Sport In Desford (SID). The club aims to provide opportunities for everyone in the community to play tennis. As part of SID, members benefit from many of the facilities available in their clubhouse.
The club offers social play, competitions, coaching, and an inclusive programme for all ages and abilities. Desford facilities also include a Gym.
Social Play
In addition to the weekly turn up and play session, members are able to use the courts when not in use. So grab your racket and get on court!
Coaching
The club offers a full range of coaching courses including Cardio Tennis which are open to all age ranges and abilities. Non-members are also welcome to join courses. So help is available if you’re looking to improve your tennis playing.
Competitive Tennis
If you’re looking of more match play then there are Teams in the Leicestershire Leagues. As well as club competitions throughout the year.
Membership
As a superb community club, fees are very affordable. Desford Lawn Tennis Club offers 5 types of memberships and adult membership costs less than £1 per week. As a member you get discount on all group coaching sessions and are eligible to play in Club Competitions and in league teams.
