Ebbisham Sports Club
Ebbisham Sports Club has been on its present site since 1937 and has become a well established Sports Club in both Epsom and Surrey. Tucked away at the end of Eastway, 10 minutes’ walk from the centre of Epsom, the club provide excellent playing facilities for Squash, Badminton, Racketball and Tennis.
In terms of tennis there are 3 adult and 1 junior club sessions per week. Regular coaching and cardio sessions. As well as internal singles leagues and inter-club matches. Simply put, there is lots going on at Ebbisham for all ages and standards.
Social Play
If your prefer a more social game, then there are three adult session each week. Adult meet on Saturday afternoons and Sunday mornings as well as Wednesday evenings during the summer. There is also a social mixed doubles drop-in session on Wednesday mornings.
Club members are able to use the courts free of charge outside the club’s programme provided they are not already booked. Non-members may hire courts for a fee.
Coaching
Coaching is available for all members. Juniors meet on Saturday mornings and Mondays after school. Whereas coaching for Adults takes place on Monday evenings and Tuesdays at certain times of the year. Adult Cardio Tennis takes place on Wednesday mornings and Touchtennis is also available.
Competitive Tennis
The club’s busy programme includes lots of match play. Teams compete in the Surrey and Dorking & Leatherhead Leagues. Internal club championships and other tournaments take place throughout the year. In addition, the club runs box leagues and various fun day competitions throughout the year.
Membership
Ebbisham Sports Club offers a range of membership options, which enable you to play one or more sports. There are special rates for juniors, students and families. However, there is a joining fee for new adult members.
Extras
After working out, the large bar is a great place to relax and catch up with friends. The club hosts a range of social events throughout the year including regular quiz nights, family social events and dances with live music. A racket stringing service is also available.
