Grove Lawn Tennis Club

The Grove Lawn Tennis Club prides itself on being a friendly club and welcomes new members of all standards. The club offers excellent opportunities to play both competitive and social tennis and has a thriving junior membership.

 

Social Play

Social Tennis sessions take place on Saturday afternoons and Tuesday evenings. Simply turn up and play – without the hassle of having to arrange a partner. It’s a great way to discover new opponents or meet up with players you already know.

 

Coaching

The Grove benefits from its own professional coaching team. They provide year-round coaching for players of all ages and abilities. In addition to group and private sessions, Cardio Tennis is also available. Special coaching sessions are provided for both junior and adult beginners. 

 

Competitive Tennis

Club teams are active in the LTA Essex tournaments and in the LTA Cambridgeshire leagues. So there’s plenty of options if you want to play more competitive.

 

The Winter League is an intra-club competition, which is open to all Adult full member. There is also a box league, which runs in the summer at the club. 

 

Membership

Open to all, Grove Lawn Tennis Club offers a number of membership packages. These include adult and juniors. Families are especially welcome with special membership rates available. Visitors are welcome for a small fee. Also, you can join online.
