Grove Lawn Tennis Club

Grove Lawn Tennis Club has based in the south west of Sheffield since 1900. The club is family friendly and welcomes new members of all tennis ability levels.

 

The club has superb facilities including four all-weather Macadam tennis courts, three have floodlighting. As well as an exciting range of social events for all members, including BBQs and Quiz nights.

 

Social Play

A thriving social tennis scene is the heartbeat of the club. There are regular club sessions, which are open to all and are the best way to get involved with the club. In addition courts are available at all times on a first come, first served basis. And as such, the club doesn’t offer court bookings.

 

Coaching

Alex Smith heads the club’s coaching programme and runs a range of group coaching for juniors and adults. So whatever your age, Alex can help you to develop your skills and improve your game.

 

Competitive Tennis

For the more competitive players, 13 teams play are active in a number of leagues, including in the Sheffield and District Leagues. And as a result, the club is always on the lookout for more competitive players.
