Halton Village Lawn Tennis Club
Located on the border of Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire, Halton Village Lawn Tennis Club has a strong ethos: Each talented, each different, but all valued.
The club’s organised social tennis sessions are at the heart of the club. And over 15 hours of organised doubles play is available each week. The Friday evening mixed session is very popular, with many choosing to follow play with a meal in the restaurant. Sunday morning’s 4 hour session often sees all 16 courts in action. Simply turn up with your racket and get mixed into a 4 for 30 minutes play on the hour & half hour.
Considered one of the UK’s top tennis venues, Halton, is also a LTA’s High Performance Centres. The club delivers training programmes to talented and aspiring young players. As well as being region’s leading provider of disability tennis. All tennis and gym classes/coaching are open to the general public and the club specialises in welcoming beginners and rusty rackets. Plus, tennis members enjoy free Cardio tennis session each week. A great way to improve your fitness, technique and meet other club members.
The highlight of the annual tennis calendar is undoubtedly the Club Festival of Tennis & Club Championships, held during the summer. It culminates in a long weekend in early September with the final rounds and a big party. The club’s box league, encourages all members to join in competitive tennis and is open to both singles and doubles.
Club membership start from just £12 per month. And of course, you can always hire courts on a pay and play basis. Members can also benefit from the on site health and fitness club.
Halton Village Lawn Tennis Club offers both indoor and outdoor tennis courts, and features a range of playing surfaces. The kids’ mini zone has three mini tennis courts, perfect for inspiring the next generation. Enjoy a drink or a bite to eat post exercise in the Pavilion cafe bar. Finally, the on site pro shop will ensure you have all the right equipment.
