With unrivalled facilities and located just a short distance from Huddersfield town centre, Huddersfield Lawn Tennis and Squash Club is a leading sports venue with over 1,000 members. In addition to tennis, the club has a gym, squash courts and Padel courts.


Social Play

With both indoor and outdoor courts, you’ll enjoy playing tennis all year round. So whether you want to join in at a club social session or book a court for your own use, you have a lot of options to play more tennis.



The club aims to offer top quality coaching across all racket sports with emphases on both high performance and making sport accessible for all.


Matt Smith heads a team of professional coaches and runs an extensive and detailed tennis coaching programme, suitable for all ages and abilities. Whether you are looking to join the Pro Academy, book an individual lesson or sign-up to a beginner’s class, you will receive superb coaching.


Competitive Tennis

Should you be after a challenge then teams compete in National, Yorkshire and local leagues. Huddersfield Lawn Tennis and Squash Club also runs a singles mini leagues where you can play against different opponents and meet other members.



A free seven day trial is available. Huddersfield Lawn Tennis and Squash Club membership starts from £14.00 and there are a range of options on offer.



After your workout on court or in the gym come and relax in the club house where we have a well-stocked bar, regular events and big screen TV.
