Hunter Park Tennis Association
The Hunter Park Tennis Association was formed in 1991 with the building of two courts in the park. All funds were raised by villagers of Twyford in addition to some grant aid. Located in a beautiful quiet and unspoilt parkland, the club sits at the heart of the village.
The club is primarily open to residents and workers in Twyford and surrounding villages. However, anyone who is willing to contribute to the club is welcome to pay to play.
Social Play
The regular mix-ins are for anyone who wishes to play tennis socially without a regular partner. They are available to members and non-members alike.
Coaching
The club’s coach, Lisa Hanley is currently no.1 in Hampshire. She is still active in local and national competitive tennis. She coaches all ages and abilities and runs a variety of individual and group sessions for members only.
Competitive Tennis
While the club doesn’t compete in local leagues, it does run a number of competitions and tournaments for members each year. And as a result, all can enjoy the challenge of match play.
Membership
With excellent membership options, it’s worth joining Hunter Park Tennis Association. In addition to the affordable rates, membership offers many benefits including free court use, coaching and access to weekly social play. Non-members are also able to enjoy the club’s courts for a small fee.
