Hutton and Shenfield Tennis Club
Established in 1919, Hutton and Shenfield Tennis Club welcomes all. Caters for various standards, from those interested in serious match play to those happy with just social tennis. The club aims to promote an environment in which everyone enjoys their tennis at a fantastic location.
Social Play
There are many opportunities each week to meet with members to play socially. Both day time and evening social sessions take place. Members have access to courts for their own play outside of these organised sessions.
Coaching
Coaching is a vital part of Hutton and Shenfield Tennis Club’s programme. Therefore the club has four highly qualified coaches working at the club. Coaching sessions can be arranged for new and current members, with both individual and group lessons available. Juniors can join their own fun programme, complete with weekly sessions and holiday camps.
Competitive Tennis
The club has a full calendar of match play. Teams of ladies, mens, mixed and veteran compete in local league matches throughout the year. In addition there are a number of friendly matches with local clubs. As well as numerous social tournaments.
Membership
A range of membership options are available Aand as a result all types of tennis players are catered for. The club invites potential members to attend up to three session before making a decision. While there is no minimum playing standards, the club does seek to maintain a good level of play. Therefore if you’re returning to tennis after a break or just starting, it would be worth joining as a coaching member and taking advanced of the group session available. Of course, you can then join as a normal member when you feel that you play at a good standard.
