Kinross Tennis Club
Whether you are a beginner, junior, social or competitive tennis player, Kinross Tennis Club hope that you will come along and join during the new season. The club welcome players of all standards and can offer coaching to those who wish it.
Social Play
Adult Club sessions are on Wednesday evenings and from Sunday mornings. Social sessions on Thursday afternoons and these are open to both members and non-members for a small fee. Plus, as a member, you can play anytime on free courts.
Coaching
Kinross provides a range of coaching and playing opportunities from pre-school age upwards using qualified coaches. On top of this, there are also competitive playing opportunities in local, regional and national competitions such as The Road to Wimbledon and AEGON Team Tennis. Support and encouragement is given to juniors interested in attaining Tennis Leaders or Level 1 Coaching Assistants qualifications.
Adult coaching is generally run in tandem with the junior term time blocks. Coaching is available for beginners and improvers and from time to time team coaching and clinics specifically for doubles play.
Competitive Tennis
There are annual club championships and teams local leagues including Tennis Tayside League and Perth and District League.
Membership
With 5 types of memberships, Kinross Tennis Club is open to all. Rates are also affordable and adult membership costs under £2 per week. Included in membership is Social membership at the KGV Rugby Clubhouse, The Muirs, Kinross.
