Kirby Tennis Club
Located in Frinton-on-Sea, Kirby Tennis Club is a very friendly club where all members are encouraged to play tennis. The club offers members a variety of tennis activities, from coaching, regular social play and competition. So whatever your age or standard, there something for you!
Social Play
For those prefer social play, there are regular sessions throughout the week and also at weekends. And while you don’t have to worry about arranging your own matches, you are more than welcome to.
Coaching
Kirby Tennis Club has a full time coaching programme for juniors and adults. So if you want to improve your serve or backhand, there are plenty of opportunities. Both group coaching and individual coaching session are available. For the juniors there are fun camps and school holiday sessions. Also all of the club’s coaching is open to members and non members.
Competitive Tennis
The club offers the chance to play competitive matches in one of the teams. 3 Mens teams, 2 Ladies teams, and 4 Mixed teams are active in the summer Colchester and District League.
Membership
There’s a range of memberships at Kirby Tennis Club. Including Mondays only, family and adults. Plus, new for 2017 is Family Beginner membership, which enables beginners to start playing tennis without having to join in at social sessions.
