Leeds Park Tennis – Roundhay Park Tennis Courts
Run in partnership with Leeds City Council and the Lawn Tennis Association, Leeds Park Tennis – Roundhay Park Tennis Courts offers tennis players a place to play all year round. With plenty of courts and coaching available, whether you’ve been playing a long time or just starting you’ll enjoy playing at the park.
Social Play
Roundhay Park Tennis Courts offers 16 hard courts which are free to access throughout the year! Courts can be reserved online in advance!
Coaching
As part of the Leeds Park Tennis programme, there are affordable weekly junior and adult coaching sessions run by qualified licensed LTA coaches. The coaching programme runs throughout the year on a pay and play basis. New players of any age or standard are always welcome and no previous playing experience is necessary.
Leeds Park Tennis – Roundhay Park Tennis Courts runs a ‘Come & Try’ open day every last Sunday of each month. Free coaching sessions for juniors and adults also take place during these sessions. Don’t worry if yo don’t have the right equipment as there’s plenty available for you to use.
Competitive Tennis
As the focus is on social play and coaching, no match play is available. However, if you’re after a challenge, Leeds offers one the highest amount of tennis clubs anywhere in the country and so it should be easy to find another club which offers a range of competitive tennis.
Membership
While there is a small charge for coaching, court hire is free for all. So all are able to enjoy playing tennis at Leeds Park Tennis – Roundhay Park Tennis Courts.
