Located in a busy part of the park and are fully accessible for anyone wanting to play tennis including full-time wheelchair users. The park is easy to reach by public transports and there is a large car park close by. The Pavilion café, which is located next to the court entrance serves a range of food and drinks.
The Springhead Park public tennis court site has 4 floodlit hard courts which are free to access throughout the year! And since courts can be reserved online in advance, it’s easy to book a few slots to play. So grab a racket and some mates and get on court!
As part of the Leeds Park Tennis programme, there are affordable weekly junior and adult coaching sessions run by qualified licensed LTA coaches. The coaching programme runs throughout the year on a pay and play basis. New players of any age or standard are always welcome and no previous playing experience is necessary.
Springhead Park Tennis runs a ‘Come & Try’ open day every last Sunday of each month. Free coaching sessions for juniors and adults also take place during these sessions. Don’t worry if yo don’t have the right equipment as there’s plenty available for you to use.
Since the club focuses on social play and coaching, no match play is available. Therefore, if you’re after a challenge, it may be best to look at other local clubs who offer a range of competitive tennis.
While there is a small charge for coaching, court hire is free for all. So all are able to enjoy playing tennis at Leeds Park Tennis – Springhead Park.
