Leicestershire Tennis and Squash Club
Founded in 1878, Leicestershire Tennis and Squash Club is a friendly member-owned club. Nestled in the heart of residential Stoneygate, the Club is the largest tennis club in the county and one of the largest and oldest in the UK.
The membership ranges from 4 yr olds learning to hold a racket for the first time in the mini squads right up to octogenarians enjoying a weekly hit with old friends while keeping fit.
Social Play
There are plenty of playing opportunities with evening mix-ins, tournaments and club leagues. All members are welcome to the mix-ins, where they have the opportunity to play with different partners and opponents. And with a number of courts, you’ll always be able to get a game.
Coaching
The Club has an extensive coaching program. Courses available for both adults and juniors at all levels. Both group and Individual coaching can be arranged, with adult group lessons are scheduled throughout the week. Junior Group coaching is available during term time with Junior Camps available during the holidays.
Competitive Tennis
Leicestershire Tennis and Squash Club organises a number of competitions throughout the year. From the hugely popular mixed doubles box league, to men’s and ladies’ single leagues. There is also a club championships, which offer a range of doubles, singles and handicap events each year.
The Club has a number of adult teams for men, ladies, veterans, singles and mixed doubles. The Mens premier team were county champions in 2015. The junior teams also have an impressive 4 county titles.

When you’re ready to join, the club offers a range of membership options. These include adult, junior, coaching only and squash only. Extras
Off court, the clubhouse features a bar and coffee shop. The Clubhouse is also home to the Club shop where you can buy everything you need for tennis or squash.
