Lymm Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club

Founded in 1881, Lymm Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club is a friendly, family orientated club. Set in beautiful woodland, the club overlooks the village centre, yet is so private that many Lymm residents are unaware of its existence!

The club offers members of any age and playing level a wide range of social tennis, social activities, and league tennis.

Social Play

At Lymm Tennis Club, the central aim is to create an enjoyable atmosphere for members of the community who would like to socialise and keep active. And so, the club tries to ensure that there is a wide range of activities with something for everyone.

There are social play sessions each weekly which is great for staying active and meet new people. And if you simply want to get on court, as a member you can simply to turn up and play.

For Juniors, every Friday throughout the spring and summer is Junior club night. This is a relaxed gathering of younger members who get together for tennis and pizza. The session is supervised.

Coaching

Sadly the club offers no coaching. However, there are many local clubs who do offer a range of coaching if that’s at the top of your list.

Competitive Tennis

There’s a lot of match play available. The club is active with teams in the Warrington Leagues. Also, you can play against other members in the annual Club Championship and regular American tournaments. As well as complete in other club Adult and Child Tournaments.
