Melrose Waverley Tennis Club
Situated in the Gibson Park in the centre of Melrose, directly opposite the famous Greenyards rugby field, Melrose Waverley Tennis Club is open for play all year. An Honesty Box is provided for non-members.
Social Play
Regular club sessions take place on Thursday evenings, and many other events also happen throughout the week. New members are always welcome to join in at these sessions. Also, an honesty box enables non-members to use the club’s courts.
Coaching
Club coach Ian Reilly runs an expansive coaching programme which offers something for players of all ages and abilities. Each week, there are various junior coaching sessions. And adult coaching is also available throughout the year.
Competitive Tennis
Several teams from Melrose Waverley compete in the various local leagues. And as a result, players of all standards have access to match play.
Membership
Melrose Waverley Tennis Club likes to welcome new members to our club of all playing standards and all ages. And so, many different membership options are available. These include family, adult, and winter memberships. Fees are very affordable and provide great value for money.

Also, the club has a lively social programme, with many annual events such as Cheese & Wine Evening, Quiz nights and American Tournaments.
