Newlands Lawn Tennis Club

Located in the South Side of Glasgow, Newlands Lawn Tennis Club is one of Scotland’s top sports clubs. Much more than a Tennis Club, the club caters for team, social and junior tennis. In addition to first rate tennis facilities, Newlands also offers 5 Squash courts and a Gym.

 

Social Play

The club is unique within the area as it’s has both indoor and outdoor courts. This means you can play all year round and whatever the weather. As well as club social tennis, courts are really easy to book for your own game. Plus, visitors are welcome for a small fee!

 

Coaching

Tennis coaching is available, from new juniors trying out tennis for the first time to senior members wishing to improve their techniques. The resident coaches operate group and individual programmes designed to fit all levels and specific requirements. So there has never been a better time to improve your game or technique.

 

Competitive Tennis

As one of the most vibrant clubs in the west of Scotland, Newlands offers a range of competitive actions. There are ladies, mens and junior teams in local and national leagues.Also the club hosts it’s ow annual Club Championships as well as monthly social and American tournaments.

 

Membership

While there is a joining fee, Newlands Lawn Tennis Club offers a range of memberships. All are available on a pay monthly or annual payment basis. Therefore the club caters to all types of tennis players.

 

Extras

On the upper level of the Clubhouse there is a spacious bar which overlooks the outdoor tennis courts. There is also a pool area and wide screen TV, which makes it’s perfect for relaxing. Families are welcome.
