North Meols Lawn Tennis Club
North Meols Lawn Tennis Club is based in the picturesque grounds of Meols Hall in Southport. Established for over a 100 years and the club is recognised as the fastest evolving tennis club in the area. There’s a superb programme on offer for all ages and abilities. There’s also a few social events each year, which are a great way to meet new people!
Social Play
During the Summer Season (April to September), the weekly calendar has a healthy mix of competitive and social tennis, alongside the clubs coaching programme. By winter there’s less going on in terms of a formal programme but there are still weekly social play sessions.
The club aims to maintain a sensible balance when it comes to court usage, trying to keep courts free at times alongside the organised tennis sessions.
Coaching
If you’re looking to improve then the club has an LTA qualified coach who offers both individual and groups. Video analysis and tactical awareness sessions are also available.
Competitive Tennis
The club has 6 teams that play in the Southport & District Tennis League. So there’s plenty of opportunities for who are looking to play more competitively.
