Oakham Lawn Tennis Club
Founded in 1952, Oakham Lawn Tennis Club has always offered Tennis to the people of Oakham and the county of Rutland. The club is located in a quiet residential area on ‘The Vale‘ in Oakham. You’ll discover a very warm and friendly atmosphere for all players.
Social Play
Regular social play sessions take place throughout the year for juniors and adults. In addition, members are free to use the courts for their own games. Also, one of the courts is available on a pay to play basis.
Coaching
Dedicated professional coaches provide coaching sessions throughout the year for adults and juniors and individual tuition is also available. So, if you want to develop your game, a coaching team is on hand to help.
Competitive Tennis
Various Ladies, Men’s, Mixed and Ladies/Men’s Veterans teams play in Summer and Winter Leicestershire leagues and junior teams also play in Leicestershire age group leagues.
Membership
To encourage membership across all ages, Oakham Lawn Tennis Club offers various types of memberships. However, as one court is available on a pay and play basis, you don’t need to be a member to enjoy the club’s excellent facilities.
Extras
A full and varied programme of social events takes place all through the year. So there’s plenty happening off court at the club.
