Oswestry Tennis Club
Oswestry Tennis Club is a friendly well-established tennis club which has been offering facilities for the people of Oswestry to play tennis since 1925!
The facilities are shared with Oswestry School during school term times. Outside of the school terms, the club has exclusive use of the facilities.
Social Play
While there’s limited court use in the day during term time, you’re able to play as much as you wish during the evenings and weekends. Plus as the court are floodlit, you can play whatever the weather.
Coaching
Sadly no coaching is available. However, there are many local tennis clubs who do offer a range of coaching and so it might be worth looking at your options.
Competitive Tennis
There are lots of club teams, who compete in local leagues and so there’s plenty of opportunities for all looking for more match play. Mens, ladies and mixed teams are active in Shropshire Summer Doubles. Also, there’s a number of club competitions for member each year.
Membership
Since membership rates haven’t increased since 2010, Oswestry Tennis Club is highly affordable. 6 packages are available including adult, junior and family. If you’re not quite sure whether the club is for you, then come along to an open day. these events enable you to try the club out and meet some members.
