Penallt Tennis Club
Penallt Tennis Club is located in an idyllic setting, high above the Wye Valley about four miles from Monmouth. The club is open to all members of the family and combines competitive and club tennis with social events and coaching for all ages and levels of expertise.
Social Play
Members enjoy meeting for a club morning each Monday. There’s also a club evening every Thursday. Both of these sessions are fantastic if you don’t have a regular partner or just want to keep active playing tennis.
Every Sunday there’s also a supervised session for children.
Coaching
There’s junior coaching with Adam Davies. He teaches teenagers on Friday evening in group sessions according to ability. Juniors meet for coaching on Saturday mornings, with group sessions according to ability. There’s also an adult’s group coaching session on Friday evenings.
Competitive Tennis
The club is active in the Monmouthshire League with Men’s, Ladies’ and Mixed teams. Also, there’s a ladies’ team in the South Wales League.
Membership
Currently, Penallt Tennis Club has limited spaces for new members, but if you would like to register an interest in joining then please contact the membership secretary for more details. Visitors are also welcome, for a small fee.
