Pewsey Tennis Club
Formed in 1947, Pewsey Tennis Club remains one of the best clubs in Wiltshire. Whether you want to play tennis socially or competitively or both, the club provides first-rate facilities.
Social Play
There are Club sessions on Wednesdays evenings and Sunday mornings. As well as a roll-up Ladies morning on Thursdays. Simply put, there’s plenty of opportunities to play tennis each week.
Coaching
Head Coach, Martin Wright, and coach, Jon Gregory, offer group coaching for juniors and adults as well as one to one coaching sessions. Plus, there are regular training sessions for Juniors as well as match and competitive play.
Martin and Jon offer a restringing service and have a range of rackets available for sale with an option to try before you buy.
Competitive Tennis
In terms of match play, adult teams compete in the Swindon and District Leagues. Also, the club hosts a number of internal tournaments each year. As well as an annual mixed open tournament. So there’s plenty of competitive active happening and teams are always on the lookout for new members.
Membership
Prospective members are always welcome to come along to a club session before committing to join. Then when you’re to join, Pewsey Tennis Club offers a range of membership packages for all. And as an added bonus, members are entitled to 10% discount in Crosby and Lawrence.
