Pocklington Tennis Club
Pocklington Tennis Club is situated in the East Riding of Yorkshire and welcomes players of all ages and abilities – from beginners who want to learn how to play tennis to those striving for top club standard.
Social Play
A full timetable of club evenings and days cater for all levels of social tennis. These informal sessions allow members to simply turn up and mix in. So there’s always plenty of opportunities to play tennis at the club.
Coaching
Pocklington Tennis Academy offers a full tennis coaching programme for both juniors and adults. Head coach, Sean Evans is LTA qualified and lead the club’s coaching programme. Under 16s are catered for with a range of activities specifically for our junior members. Also, there are extremely popular tennis camps for 5-16-year-olds during the school holidays.
Competitive Tennis
For those seeking competitive, the club has a number of teams in the Driffield Lawn Tennis League, the Ladies’ Fulford Invitation League and York Men’s Tyke Leagues. In addition, the club also runs a series of tournaments throughout the year.
