Portcullis Tennis Club
Founded in 1952, Portcullis Tennis Club is a located at the Hithercroft Sports Park on the edge of Wallingford. In addition to excellent facilities, the Clubmark accredited club has an exciting programme for all ages and standards.
Social Play
Whether you want to play social tennis with friends or join in at a popular club session, there’s plenty of opportunities for both each week. There are 4 weekly club sessions, which enable all to play regularly.
Coaching
Portcullis has a resident coach, provided by Community Tennis Association. From Mini and Junior Tennis right through to ‘Rusty Rackets’ and ‘Ladies Mornings’. There are opportunities for either individual or group coaching sessions, and also holiday camps run during the school holidays.
Competitive Tennis
In terms of match play, the club competes in a number of Ladies, Mens and Mixed Senior leagues in Oxfordshire and Berkshire throughout the year. As there are teams of varying standards, all who wish can join a team and play competitively.
