Redhill Lawn Tennis Club
Redhill Lawn Tennis Club was established in 1879 and was one of the first clubs to be formed in the country. Today the club has developed into a thriving tennis centre with a very active and friendly membership.
The busy weekly programme includes club sessions, match practice, and improver/beginner evenings. Tournaments also feature frequently in the club calendar. So there’s something for all ages and standards.
Social Play
If you prefer a more social game, then join in at one of the club’s weekly social play sessions. Players of all standards are welcome to turn up and mix in. As a member, you’re able to book one of the club’s courts for your own games.
Coaching
The club has a fantastic award winning coaching team including Level 4 CCA licenced LTA Head Coach Dave Earl. Dave and his team run coaching courses and fun events for adults/juniors and squad sessions for team players.
Individual and group coaching are also available. In addition, the coaching team run tennis camps for juniors (including non-members) during school holidays as well as hosting various LTA junior tournaments throughout the year. Plus, as the club is LTA accredited mini tennis centre, kids can start learning tennis from the age of 3.
Competitive Tennis
Adult teams play in the Dorking and Leatherhead, Surrey and Weald leagues and are now playing in the Aegon Team Tennis League. In addition to league play, the club hosts a number of its own tournaments each year. And as a result, there is a range of standards to suit all players.
Membership
To enjoy Redhill Lawn Tennis Club, you must become a member. However, the club offers many different types of membership are available. So whatever your requirement, the club is open to you!
