Riccall Tennis Club
Located in York, Riccall Tennis club was originally established in 1928 at the time Riccall Institute was built. The club was originally situated behind the institute on two grass courts.
Today, Riccall Tennis Club has something to offer everyone, whether you are looking for competitive tennis, social play or just keeping fit.
Social Play
Members enjoy weekly social tennis on Wednesday evenings when they are able to turn up and mix in. If you’re new or thinking about joining, these sessions are great for experience the club for yourself. There’s also plenty of other times, you can turn up and play on free courts.
Coaching
Louise Marshman, the club’s resident coach, runs weekly junior coaching sessions. Adult coaching is also available with both group and private lessons on offer.
Competitive Tennis
Riccall Tennis Club has four teams that participate in regular competition in local leagues. So if you’re looking for competitive match play, a range is available.
