Romsey and Abbey Tennis Club
Romsey and Abbey Tennis Club is a local tennis club based at Romsey Sports Centre since 1983. The club provides community tennis programmes to the local area. As well as a full programme for members which includes leagues, social events and coaching.
Social Play
Whether you want to book a court or join in at mix-in sessions, there’s plenty of opportunities for both. And since you don’t have to be a member, everybody can enjoy playing tennis at the club.
Coaching
Whether your 8 or 80, there’s a coaching course for you! LTA Mini tennis enables kids to start learning from a young age and uses smaller courts and equipment. Then as they grow, the club offers a range of coaching to keep them inspired. If you’re a little older still, the club offers a range for adults.
Competitive Tennis
While the club doesn’t compete in local leagues, it does hosts a few social American style tournaments each year. These are always fun and a great way to meet players in the club.
Membership
Romsey and Abbey Tennis Club prides itself on being a friendly and warm tennis club. Most of the club’s social sessions, coaching and mix-ins are available for both members and non-members. However, anyone is welcome to join and enjoy a number of membership benefits. And since there’s no playing in tests or assessments before joining, becoming a member is easy.
