Sarisbury Green Lawn Tennis Club
Sarisbury Green Lawn Tennis Club is a small friendly club who play social tennis and league matches. New Members are always welcome.
The club manages two courts on behalf of Fareham Borough Council. And is an associated membership of Sarisbury Community Centre adjacent to the courts which has a bar, meeting rooms and toilets.
Social Play
Each week there’s a number of club sessions, which are open to all and provide the chance to play tennis and meet new people. Plus there are club sessions all year round and members usually meet afterwards for a drink in the adjacent Sarisbury Community Centre. Plus courts are available to members outside the club’s programme, so you can book one for your own game.
Coaching
Currently, there is only adult group coaching on a Monday. If you’re looking for wider range then it may be worth considering other clubs.
Competitive Tennis
In terms of match play, members from the club compete in local leagues such as the Hampshire and IOW, and Portsmouth Leagues. So there’s plenty of competitive action available.
Membership
While there’s a small joining fee, overall membership rates at Sarisbury Green Lawn Tennis Club are affordable. Three membership packages are available including Adult, Junior and Student.
Non Members may hire a court from the One Stop Store on Bridge Road for a small fee.
