Sphynx Tennis Club

Sphynx Tennis club in Southport is situated on Ashdown Close, just off Scarisbrick New Road in Southport. The club has excellent all-weather courts and modern facilities. Tennis is available at the club for all ages and abilities. So, come down on a Friday evening to enjoy our facilities and meet the members.

 

Social Play

Sphynx has 4 recently rejuvenated synthetic grass courts and so the club is always busy. Whether it’s members playing together as part of a club session or a few booking a court for a game, there’s something happening at the club.

 

Coaching

Head Coach, Chris Parkes, is available for both squad and private coaching and is fast developing into one of Southport’s best tennis coaches having already achieved great success as a player at both county and national levels to date.

 

Competitive Tennis

Sphynx is active in Southport & District Tennis Division, Aegon Team Tennis Lancashire and other. Both the adults and juniors have been very successful in the last few seasons and so the club is always on the lookout for more competitive players.

 

Membership

In order to enjoy the facilities at Sphynx Tennis club, you need to become a member. However, annual subscription rates are very competitive and there’s a discount for new members. Adult, Student, Junior, Winter, Country and Social Membership are available and so consider joining today.
