St. Annes Lawn Tennis and Squash Club

St. Annes Lawn Tennis and Squash Club was formed in 1900. In 1920, after the war, the club moved to the present flourishing site in Avondale Rd off Clifton Drive North. In addition to Tennis, the club offers three Squash and Racketball courts as well as a Gym.

 

Social Play

Members meet once each week of social play, these turn up and mix in sessions are open to all. In addition you can book one of the nine available courts for your own play whenever you feel like a game or two.

 

Coaching

Jonathan Churchman heads up the coaching programme and he a LTA Licensed Professional Coach. Coaching is available in groups or individually.

 

Competitive Tennis

Keeping a competitive spirit alive, there are a range of mens, ladies and mixed team who are active in a number of competitions. Teams compete in Fylde League, Liebert Rose Bowl and Roscoe Trophy as well as many other.

 

Membership

With an extensive list of membership options, St. Annes Lawn Tennis and Squash Club caters to all. So whether you’re an adult, a family or a junior, the club welcomes you. If you’re not sure then you can play at the club for a small fee. Also temporary membership is also available.

 

Extras

Relax in the licensed bar and lounge area, which is always showing the latest sports coverage from BT Sport and ESP. If you want to hold a party or function at the club, then the lounge bar is available to hire to members and non members.
