St John’s URC Tennis Club
Since 1934, St John’s URC Tennis Club has been enabling local people to play Tennis in the heart of Ipswich. With a comprehensive programme of both junior and adult coaching, a full match schedule and a busy social programme, St Johns really is the first choice for Tennis in Ipswich.
Social Play
Each week there are a number of club play sessions. Open to all members, these sessions take place on Wednesday evenings and Saturday afternoons. As well as Monday and Tuesday mornings, which also include tea or coffee! Members are free to book the remaining court time for their own games.
Coaching
If you’re looking to improve your game, then a range of coaching is available for all ages. There are regular adult coaching courses and Juniors meet most days of the week.
Competitive Tennis
St John’s URC Tennis Club enters teams in the summer and winter leagues in the Ipswich and East Suffolk area. So if you’re looking for more match play, the club offers a range.
Membership
With an annual subscription of only £100, now is the time to join a friendly and welcoming Tennis club. And of course, a range of membership options are available.
Extras
As well as the busy tennis programme, there are regular social events including tennis drives, pub lunches, and quizzes.
