Stirling Lawn Tennis and Squash Club

Since 1878, Stirling Lawn Tennis and Squash Club has been the place to play racket sports in the historic City of Stirling. With its central Scotland location, excellent road, rail and bus links, the club is perfectly situated to be reached easily from many of Scotland’s cities and surrounding areas.

 

The Club welcomes new members and visitors of all ages wishing to play tennis, squash and racketball. It also organises social events for its members and guests.

 

In terms of tennis at the club, there are regular practice evenings for all members, club competitions, social tennis and coaching programmes.

 

Social Play

There is a weekly social tennis session on a Friday evening at the Club. All members are welcome and turn up and mix-in with doubles play. Club night for men’s social tennis is Mondays. Whereas ladies meet for their club night on Wednesdays.

 

In addition, there is a weekly Senior social tennis event on Wednesday mornings throughout the year for those who like to play their tennis at a more relaxed pace.

 

Coaching

Hannah Pickford, the club’s coach runs an exciting programme of coaching for adults and juniors.

 

Competitive Tennis

Stirling Lawn Tennis and Squash Club has a wide range of teams competing in the annual Central Tennis leagues throughout the summer and winter months.

 

A Club Championships take place during the summer and is open to members only.

 

Membership

As Stirling Lawn Tennis and Squash Club offers both tennis and squash, you can select from a number of membership categories. If you want to just play tennis, then a range of options are available. However, if you want access to both sports then the club offers a range of options.
