Stock Tennis Club
Situated on the outskirts of Billericay, Stock Tennis Club is a small and friendly tennis club. It has active adult and junior sections with teams playing in the local leagues.
Social Play
As a very friendly club, the regular drop in and play sessions each week enable players of all standard to play a few games. The four weekly sessions means all members can find a suitable time to play. Plus, if you don’t have a regular partner, then come along and meet a new one!
Coaching
Excellent coaching for all ages is available in either group sessions or one-on-one. The club has an active junior membership, with regular coaching sessions as well as well supported Boys and Girls competitions. Also, there are various social events through the year for juniors.
Competitive Tennis
The club actively participates in the Chelmsford, Brentwood and Stock leagues. Currently 2 Mens teams, 3 Ladies teams and 2 Mixed teams compete all year round in both the Summer and Winter leagues. In addition the club hosts an annual club competition and a few American Tournaments.
Membership
While there is a joining fee, membership is reasonably priced. There are a few options to choose from. Guests are welcome for a small fee but are limited to three visits per year.
Extras
Off court, Stock Tennis Club members meet regularly for social events, including a Christmas party, day trips and curry nights!
