Stockton Heath Lawn Tennis Club
Throughout its existence, Stockton Heath Lawn Tennis Club has provided opportunities for tennis players of all ages and abilities to enjoy the game and develop their skills. The Club now occupies an area of some 2-3 acres with extensive woodland around the courts and Clubhouse.
Social Play
Each week there’s several social tennis sessions and all full members are welcome to come along at any time. Courts can be pre-booked although this is not always necessary. So whether you want to play with friends or meet new people, you have plenty of chances for both.
Coaching
There is a strong coaching tradition and a thriving junior section as a result. Head Coach Ant McCarthy, leads the club’s programme.
As a club member, there is a wide range of both individual and group coaching opportunities available for juniors and seniors during the day, evenings and weekends.
Competitive Tennis
Stockton Heath has entered as many as 20 teams spanning all age groups in the Warrington and District League and Cheshire County knockout competitions.
In addition to league tennis, club tournaments for junior and senior players take place throughout the year.
