Stonehaven Tennis Club
Tennis has been played at Stonehaven Recreation Grounds since the courts were founded in 1886. At one time there were as many as 22 courts, with people regularly travelling from Edinburgh and even Oxford to take part in major tournaments. The club even hosted a player at Wimbledon! Today, Stonehaven Tennis Club is a friendly sports club open to those of any age and ability.
Social Tennis
There social tennis sessions twice a week, which allow you to play a few games and meet other club members.
Coaching
The club offers a fantastic coaching programme using LTA qualified coaches. Adults can benefit from weekly coaching session. Whereas the juniors, have an active programme, which includes weekly session and holiday camps.
Competitive Tennis
The club hosts a number of tournaments, which encourage members to play more competitive tennis. Throughout the year, there are a range of box leagues and American tournaments as well as an annual club championships. Teams from the club competes in local leagues.

Stonehaven Tennis Club has 7 types of memberships. This wide range of options covers all, from adults to under 8s to families.
Extra
The Recreation Grounds bar provides the perfect place for a drink post tennis. Also, off court, a number of social events are held the club each year.
