Strathaven Tennis Club
Strathaven Tennis Club is a great place to get fit, have fun and meet new friends. If you are new to tennis or returning to the sport, Strathaven Tennis Club can make that journey as smooth and as easy as possible. Located at Holm Street in Strathaven Park, the club is open to club members and the general public.
Social Play
Members can enjoy playing tennis all year round, whether as part of a club session or for their own games. During summer, the club works in partnership with South Lanarkshire Council to enable the general public to use the courts on a pay to play basis.
Coaching
The club runs a weekly mini court session on Saturday afternoons. Also, the club works in partnership with local primary schools in Strathaven to deliver coaching to students. For adults, Tennis Express course is available and is aimed at those starting tennis or returning after a break.
Competitive Tennis
In terms of match play, a mens senior team and a mens vets team compete in local leagues. So you have access to some competitive opportunities.
