Theydon Bois Lawn Tennis Club is a thriving, vibrant and friendly club situated in the heart of Epping Forest. The club was established in 1926 and still offers a superb programme of tennis. So whether you want to compete or play socially, there are a number of opportunities for you at the club.

Social Play

For those who prefer a more leisurely approach to their tennis there are weekly club sessions. Members enjoy meeting on Wednesday evenings and weekend afternoon to enjoy a few sets with a wide variety of player standards. Also some arrange their own games outside the club’s programme.

The Junior section is very active with club members as well as many more who come on a ‘pay-as-you-play’ basis. There are coaching sessions on Friday evening after school during the summer months and on a Saturday morning all year round. There are also school holiday coaching camps and juniors teams in local tournaments.

Adults benefit from Beginner and Improver coaching sessions, on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Non-members are welcome on a ‘pay-as-you-play’ basis.
