Victoria Tennis Club

Established in 1910, Victoria Tennis Club welcomes players of all ages and abilities. The club sits in a secluded pleasant residential area surrounded by mature trees and gardens.

Social Play

At the heart of the club’s programme is social tennis. Members meet each week for a turn up and play sessions. And as all five courts have quality floodlighting, you can play all year round.

Coaching

The club’s professional coach JON SIDDON is available throughout the year for individual and group coaching for both juniors and seniors. He also runs our very popular Courses during the school holidays. With a Mini Tennis accreditation, the club provides a fun and gentle introduction to the sport for Under 10’s.

Competitive Tennis

If you’re looking for more competitive match play then club has teams both for Adults and Juniors. These teams compete at various levels and in County leagues with great success. Thus new players of all standards are always welcome.

Membership

The club offers a range of membership options. If you’re thinking on joining then it’s worth visiting the club first to see the excellent facilities for yourselves and also meet some members. Then when you’re ready to join Victoria Tennis Club, there is a discount available on the first year’s fee.

Extras

The clubhouse features a well-stocked bar and a light and airy lounge which as well as being used by tennis players also provides a relaxed facility for our many and varied social events.
