Watlington Tennis Club
Watlington Tennis Club is a small friendly club located close to the centre of the town. The tennis club is one part of The Watlington Club which also has Bowls, Squash and Snooker sections, together with bar and function room. All members of the tennis club are automatically members of the Memorial Club and can use its facilities.
The membership includes a substantial junior section. With both social and competitive play, Watlington offers someone for all tennis players.
Social Play
There are regular social club sessions all year round on Sunday mornings and on Wednesday evenings. Outside these sessions, as there is no booking system at the Club, you can simply turn up and play!
Coaching
Coaching can be arranged for both Adults and Juniors with group and one-to-one sessions available. Junior coaching is available on Thursdays for kids between 5 – 16 years old and uses fun gameplay to teach the basics of tennis.
Competitive Tennis
In terms of match play, Ladies, mens and mixed teams compete in the Oxfordshire leagues. There is also an annual club tournament.
Membership
As Watlington Tennis Club offers a range of memberships, all are welcome at the club and can enjoy using the facilities all year round. Also, visitors are welcome for a small fee.
