Wem Tennis Club
Wem Tennis Club is located near Wem Railway Station in the centre of Wem, adjacent to the Wem Recreation Ground and Play Area.
Tennis is available throughout the year for all ages, either by joining the club as a Member or by Pay and Play public use. The Club offers a wide range of tennis from social to competitive and for all age ranges.
Social Play
With weekly club nights, you don’t need a partner, simply turn up and mix in. There’s also great for meeting new people. In addition to these sessions, members have access to courts during the week and so can play as often as they wish. If you’re not a member then don’t worry as the club offers some slots on a pay and play basis.
Coaching
Members also have access to professional Coaching through a partnership with Inspire2Coach. So if you’re in need of help to develop your skills, the team are on hand to enable you to develop as a player.
Competitive Tennis
Wem also offers county-wide competitive team tennis through Tennis Shropshire. As well as club competitions, which provide tennis for various levels of ability.
Membership
While you can pay and play, becoming a member of Wem Tennis Club is easy and affordable. Plus as a few membership packages are available tennis players of all ages can join the club.
