Social Play
The friendly club enjoys a thriving membership and welcome players of all abilities. Wetherby offers regular Social Tennis for all members who want to play doubles with other club members.
Coaching
The Coaching programme is delivered by Angela Crossley Tennis Coaching (ACTC). Angela and her team provide a comprehensive programme for adults and juniors at the club.
ACTC runs a popular beginner course for adults who are either starting out or returning after a break. Juniors work through the LTA mini programme and then continue their development with regular classes and camps.
Competitive Tennis
In terms of competitive action, 11 adult teams compete in the local leagues as well as 5 junior teams. The club also runs an internal Winter League. And as a result, there’s a good selection of match play available for all levels.

I have been a paying member of Weatherby Tennis Club, and despite contacting them multiple times by email to cancel my membership, they have completely ignored my requests. Weeks have gone by without any response, and they continue to take monthly payments without authorization. This is unacceptable customer service and feels deliberately neglectful.
I strongly caution anyone considering joining: the club has shown no willingness to honor cancellations or refund payments, and communication is nonexistent once they have your money.
