Woking Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club
Woking Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club is located in the beautiful semi-rural setting of Hook Heath, Woking. For more than 100 years the Club has provided a wonderful outdoor facility for families and players of all ages and abilities.
The thriving Adult and Junior Membership enjoy some of the finest tennis facilities in Surrey.
Social Play
The Club runs numerous Mix-In sessions each week for adults to enjoy a regular game. All are very social and often end with a coffee, beer or glass of wine in the bar afterwards!
Coaching
The Club offers an extensive programme of coaching for adults from beginner to team level. Over 10 groups running every week during term time, including courses and PAYG sessions. Also, individual private lessons are available with any one of nine LTA qualified coaches.
The Junior programme is renowned as one of the best in the area. So, whatever your age, whether a complete beginner or aspiring top-level national, the experienced coaches will provide expert advice to help you get the most out of your game.
Competitive Tennis
With some of the strongest teams in Surrey, 17 Ladies, Men’s and Mixed Teams currently play in the Surrey, Aegon, Woking & District, Chaucer and Mid-week leagues, there’s plenty of opportunities for varying levels of player.
The Club runs a number of social competitions throughout the year with various themes including Davis Cup and Wooden Rackets. There is also the annual Club Championships, as well as for regular matches, the Singles ladders. There is also the Woking Open and Senior Woking Open for those to compete at a higher level!
Membership
Woking Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club welcome players of all age groups and abilities. Be they tiny tots or adult beginners, through to Junior and Senior team players who may be competing in our National Club League Teams. While the club does offer a number of membership packages, joining fees are due when becoming a member.
